I just had one of the weirdest things ever happen to me! This little old lady , she overstressed the fact she was 87 multiple times, was here in MY office waiting on her car repairs to be finished! The whole time I am trying to eat lunch and make futile attempts to ignore her and enjoy my ham, she is blabbing about how computers are going to be the portal of communications for our soon to come outer space voyages to other planets and how the Egyptians had already done that in the past you know! The cloning issue came up and I was refreshed on how the people in biblical times had already done this by "Mixing" with animals.........I replied to her that I had seen something like this on the internet once
! Then it went on to how the next holocaust was upon us with this thing in Iraq........My ears perked right up! She goes on to tell me what a snake and Hitler wannabee that Bush is......................STOP THE PRESS! This is where I got off the being kind and listening to the little nursing home escapee bus to conflicting issues on politics and got on the Get the hell out of my office with your liberal pansy assed ideas about how damn good life would be if we could ressurect FDR bus headed for the door! I said to her " Just how is the president to change the things he is doing now so that it would be a solution instead of a problem for all you democrats? and her reply was stop giving all the money to the rich on these so called Tax breaks and give it back to social security............This whole debate went back and forth until I thought she might just have a stroke and die right here in my floor! I finally just gave up and left her alone and being the nice guy that I am I did not eve over charge her! But I should have since I am a republican!
Attention Shady Acres employees, if you are looking for Mrs. Hardy she is headed back up town by way of US HWY 31 North and was going to stop by the produce market for a bit of something to eat before she goes back home to read some more on the Egyptian cloning techniques!
