First game with odd matchup:

9-0, W Michigan in MACtion to be favored around 25 @ Kent?

Pitt will go into 9-0 Clemson as a possible 21+ pt dog?

Ohio St @ 8-1 off Nebraska blowout go to Terp country in which Terps gave up over 50 to Michigan, OSU to be favored by 28?

A&M was #4 in Playoff committee poll now will face Ole Miss @ home and only a 7-8 pt fav possibly?

Bama @ 9-0 off LSU win in defensive battle will face Miss St off the A&M win? Should be favored by near 32?

Auburn w/7-2 record go on rd to Athens to face Dawgs as possible 16 pt fav?

Kentucky still with outside shot of winning their SEC Division face Tennessee and Vols to be favored by 14 or more?

LSU off Bama loss at home will go on rd and face Hogs, LSU to be favored by 7 or more? Ouch!

USC @ 6-3 go into Huskyville as possible DD Dogs? Dubs are 9-0 and will be in Top 4 this week by playoff committee for certain!!

WV by GOD will go into Austin @ 7-1 and a possible 2 1/2 pt favorite @ Texas? If Texas loses this game with their current 5-4 record, that could cost Charlie Strong his job and rumblings in College football are going around, even Chip Kelly's name being mentioned in Austin just as Nick Saban's was a few years back.

Oklahoma w/7-2 record will face Baylor at home, Baylor off humiliating home loss by 40 pts to Horned Frogs now go into Norman as possible 11 pt dog?

Nebraska off beat down to Ohio St, minus their starting QB Tommy Armstrong after his doinking on the sideline will be only a 7 pt favorite at home vs Minnesota?

USF go into Memphis as a pickem possibly, USF is 7-2 and Memphis @ 6-3. Should be a high scoring game.

Michigan w/9-0 record should be #2 in Playoff this coming week and go on the road to Iowa City and will face a limping Hawkeye squad with nothing to lose and possible 22 pt dog? I can't see Iowa getting beat by that much at home in their 2nd to last home game off a fresh Penn St road loss.

Colorado w/7-2 record could put the nail in the coffin for Rich Rod getting his walking papers in Tucson with Buffs being a possible 20 pt road fav? Really? My have times changed quickly!

Was Armstrong hurt that bad? I noticed they showed him coming back into the stadium from the hospital and he was hugging his gf and the minute he saw the cameras on him he started jogging thru the tunnel.

He landed a face plant straight into the ground, lucky he didn't break his neck. Basically a head stinger injury, he should be able to play 100% vs Minnesota.

Papers are saying he will not play next week??

Nebraska released a statement soon after Armstrong was carted off that the Husker quarterback was "briefly knocked unconscious." Armstrong was moving all extremities and talking while on the field and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Armstrong wasn't at the hospital for long though. Shortly after halftime, ABC cameras showed Armstrong walking back toward the stadium. Fans erupted as he reappeared on the field, jogging back to the Husker sideline to hugs from his teammates.

After his fall, trainers immediately attended to Armstrong as he remained still near the field after he suffered his injury. Trainers cut off part of his jersey, shoulder pads and chin strap. Armstrong then briefly moved his arms but mostly remained still with his fists clenched, according to ABC sideline reporter Sam Ponder.

Cameras also showed Armstrong's father and fiancee near Armstrong after they were escorted to field level from their seats in the stands.

Armstrong was placed on a stretcher and carted off the field and into an ambulance to be taken to an area hospital for further testing. When head and neck injuries are involved, the stretcher and cart are often used as a precautionary measure. Armstrong was conscious as he left on the cart, responding to teammates that wished him well. He gave a thumbs up with his left hand as the cart departed.

Fans of both teams were chanting Armstrong's name as he was carted away.

During a halftime interview, Nebraska coach Mike Riley was optimistic about his QB's recovery.

"I think everything is going to be OK," Riley said.

He was OK, indeed. Once doctors gave Armstrong the green light, his fiancee said in a Twitter post that the Husker senior couldn't wait to get back:

WOW, didn't expect a couple of those lines. I don't see A&M winning by 20 even at home and off a 2 game losing streak now.

Michigan will win by 50 Saturday night in Iowa city.
The Hawkeyes have quit and Harbaugh doesn't let up.
He couldn't even if he wanted to being on the road with his travel squad.
The backups for Michigan are better than the Iowa starters.
Iowa can't run the ball or defend the run and has no team speed at all.
Anything under a 3 TD line is a gift.

Having said all that... I couldn't handicap an Iowa game knowing the final score in advance, so...
Iowa wins outright in a huge upset....:mj07:

That line being that low even at DD is a red flag, especially in BIG10 action and how bad Iowa has been playing and the other trait is #2 team in each poll and Playoff poll has covered less than 25% this season and outright losers in a few teams. Iowa home field advantage not that strong, however, they've played Michigan in the past tough in IC.

I want that line to climb some more before playing it, and see what the game time weather forecast looks like as well. No look ahead action for Michigan as they have Indiana @ home next weekend, Senior week, then @ Ohio State on 11/26, T-Giving weekend.

Beathard I believe is healthy, he just can't throw the ball deep like he did last year and lacks any weapons to exploit even the cheerleaders on the sidelines.

The only good news is Iowa is 10-0 L10 as dogs of 5 pts or more when playing a team with a better than 75% record, hence, Michigan is 9-0 which would be 100% and better than 75% FWIW.

I expect the line to climb to 20 1/2, then smarts will pound the game.

GL!!

So when is captain Kirk going to get rid of Davis? Is CJ hurt-no passes again over 15 yards:0corn

Davis isn't going anywhere unless Barta grows a pair and fires captain clueless.
We know how that's going to turn out.
Sunshine hasn't been himself since the Moo U game and I believe he's seriously banged up.
You'd be too if you were getting sacked at least 4 times a game and getting hit at least that many times after releasing the ball.
He can't throw downfield when I'm faster than his receivers and he has no time to get rid of the ball because his O line sucks ass.
I know I'm the king of hyperbole when it comes to Iowa football, but that team is a dumpster fire right now.
I don't expect them to even beat Illinois next week to be bowl eligible.
I'll wave from my seats Saturday night and the day after thanksgiving-- look for me. :mj07:

Weather will be great for a night game in Iowa city in mid November, wild bill.
Daytime high of 54 cooling to 36 overnight with little or no wind.
Good luck on however you play this one. I'll look for your thoughts later in the week. :toast:

Why Bill are you waiting for 21 or more-betting Iowa? Reds I'll look for you on TV-run out on the field naked

:mj07:

I'll pass, thanks.
Besides, I've already seen the inside of the Kinnick lock up back in the day when I was way more irresponsible than I am now...;)
Have no desire to see it again...[emoji15]

Seeing some 21.5's out there now. Doesn't matter; line is at least 10 points too low.
So, if your book offers a ML on Iowa, grab it!
Hawkeyes win outright!
