Week 1: I'm seriously thinking of taking Detroit. Arizona is horrible; just completely dreadful. Jeff Blake had decent numbers in Cincy throwing those balloons up and letting Carl Pickens and Darnay Scott outleap the defenders, but who does he have to throw to now? Starting Emmitt over Marcel Shipp is also a big mistake and I expect McGinnis to make that change at some point during the season. As for the defense, it flat out sucks.
As for the Lions, a major move forward on the sidelines w/the switch to Mooch. Harrington now has had a year under his belt and I look for improvement under Mariucci, who was instrumental in Favre's development in GB. Rogers gives them a legitimate threat at WR. The Lions still figure to struggle overall this season, and this is likely the only spot they could be used. But I would guess very few people would be willing to take Detroit in any week, and they will be using up strong contenders, who could be valuable later on in the season.
