Creighton -10 over North texas ******
NT is going to have its hands full this afternoon....NT has a decent record but vs Ark Mont,Dwl St Miss Valley,Langston,etc...losses to good teams SF Austin Ok St,Arkansas and Iona by 11,26,16 and 20...Chatman and Zierdan are solid gds for the Jays...Hegner and Artino are 6'9 and 6'11 and avg 8 pts a game..they are still growing from last yrs departure of superstar..but they did beat OU....NT has no pt gd,Williams their top 3 pt shooter and scorer shoots 32%...NT cannot shoot...they do drive to the hoop and are athletic but Creighton is a well coached team that works for it shots..NT is more athletic and quicker but Creighton has basketball players...
Oregon St pk over Quinn ****
Quinn leads the nation in rebounding.Drame is up there too...but these guys can't shoot from the field.....when they lost to Siena a few weeks ago they packed it in..Quinn couldn't hit the open 10 ft shoots..Payton is tough for OSU..they have some big boys off the bench...Oregon is a good defensive team...good defense vs no offense.. I'll take the D...
Yesterday shot air ball after air ball....pretty bad....need a few swishes today..
Flew down to Austin last night...sat with Army's hockey team on the airplane to Detroit....so many funny stories....one teacher promised his class that if Army beat Navy he would exempt them from all taking the final.He has been making that bet for the past 10 years...and every year every one takes his final...these kids had me laughing....and they all are a great bunch of kids...
