Hi guys.

For those with Centebet accounts, there is a good bet for the Austrlia v. Pakistan ODI in Brisbane on Wednesday.

Afridi under 30 runs @ 1.70

In the past 2 games he has scored 1 and 3.
The pitch at the 'Gabba will be nice and bouncy, so if he opens he will struggle.
If he comes in down the order he will likely be slogging (when doesn't he!).
Of course he is the type of player that only need 2/3 hefty swings to knock up a quick 50 or so, but he looks badly out of form at present and under 30 runs is a near certainty I would think.

Cha-ching :D

Good call mate. Couple of questions - didn't see the game, just saw the scoreboard this am...

Did he get run out off the last ball of the 50 overs? And if so, was a not out going to count as a push?

Nice one again

Cheers Anders :D

He was actaully run-out in the 39th over, so no problems with him being there at the end.

I actually thought it was going to be just one of those horrible days. He should have been stumped on 1 (He literally on his way, but Gilchrist hit the stumps without the ball!), and then 3 balls later he lobbed on just short of a fielder.

But it worked out ok in the end ;)

I actually don't know what happens if he's not out but under 30 at the end
I guess you could argue for the win, but it would likely be a push?

I know it's still a long way off, but @ 8/1, the Paki's have to be great value for the World Cup next year.
Near certain to face Australia in the semi's I'd think, so a good hedging prospect at the worst ;)

Remember they still have Saqlain and Razzaq to come into that side!

The bet is Afridi to score under 30 runs and I imagine this would be regardless of whether he is out or not out.

I am almost certain that if he finished say 29 not out it would be graded as a win.
