Already handled Pitt this year and Pitt is struggling a bit now. Nova a legit final 4 and COULD GO ALL THE WAY
Now....CT....Came down to earth vs Purdue as Adrien 1-9 in the first half and AJP was D'd well and went cold but lo and behold Craig Austrie finds the range again and contributes 3-3 from 3 to go with a big defensive game. Stanly Robinson has been consistent and good (big D in half 2) v Purdue...
Now if AJ and Austrie find the range then Adrien and Thabeet and Robinson will prosper as well. CT will run selectively and control tempo...Lights out for MO.
CT has played, arguably, the better competition and has OWNED the boards (CT+10 to MO even)..
They D the opp to 37% MO 41% and get to the stripe with greater regularity... %'s equal.
Many teams have controlled tempo v MO and CT should also. CT advantage in blocks as well. They do need to value the ball today and make their free throws (bad vs Purdue) Big depth advantage to MO but CT starters played from 45 to 62 min vs Cuse recently in 6 OTs so if they play their game they'll be OK
