CUBS/DIAMONDBACKS Over 7.5 -105 ? I know that it?s Randy Johnson on the mound for the Diamondbacks, but bear in mind that the Over is now 18-9 in all of his starts this year. This is because the total is usually 8 or less whenever he starts, and the Arizona offense supports him with 5.6 runs per game. Zambrano got bombed in his last start, as the Astros reached him for 7 earned runs in just 2.2 innings. The D-Backs are averaging 5.47 runs per game at home this year, so it is not inconceivable that they could score at least 6 runs in this game, especially given the Cubs? generous bullpen. That would mean that the Cubs would only need to score 2 runs to put this game Over the total, again something that can be easily attained. The last time they faced Johnson, the Cubbies managed 3 runs and 9 hits off of him in 6.2 innings. Finally, as a team, the Over is now 33-24 in all Arizona home games this year, with an average total score of 9.58 runs per game.
