My thoughts are....some must see good value going against Lackey in this spot. After all, he's leading the league in HR's surrendered with 24, which is more than he's given up all of last year. I also think the total will go up from 9 1/2, so I'm down on the over early. The Cubs are playing pretty good right now and hitting the shit out of the baseball, so I was very glad to see the line move in their direction. Besides, in my mind these line movements don't mean a damn thing! I've been following this shit for a long time and sometimes the line movement goes for and sometimes the line movement goes against the eventual winner of the game. That's my take on it.

I hear ya...I feel pretty much the same 10-15+ point line movements never sway me but anytime I see a 30+ point line move for no apparent reason I want to find out if I missed something...I had a pretty solid lean on the Cubs today but I will wait it out to see what happens between now and first pitch...thanks for your thoughts...gl today

I agree with Chase here the Cubs are hot out of the break, and I see it continuing. The line dropped 30 cents but looks like it might be moving back up (-115, -120). Lackey has a propensity to give up the long ball, and despite career success against ATL, there is still the risk he gets hit. On the other side, Newcomb has been getting rocked the last few games. He started hot, but the last few times out have been brutal. I like the Cubbies and the Over in this one.
