PITTSBURGH PIRATES +120 ? Now I realize that the Pirates have scored the fewest runs in the league, but the Cubs aren?t exactly hitting the cover off the ball either, and Wells recent form is just as good as Lieber?s, making Pittsburgh an appealing home underdog tonight. In fact, Wells is 3-0 in his last 3 starts with a 0.92 ERA and a sparkling 1.02 WHIP. By contrast, Lieber is 0-2 in his last 3, albeit with a good 3.66 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP. Since both offenses are struggling, this probably low scoring contest may very well be decided by the bullpens. It appears that the Pirates have a big edge in this department, as what figures to be their available bullpen tonight has a group ERA of 2.48 with a WHIP of 1.20, while the available Cubs pen has a 4.96 ERA and 1.48 WHIP.

Thanks Geno!

Wells held his raging form, and he may be worth another investment if he is an underdog next time out.

Good luck.
