Was 11-21-2

Van 20-11-5
Min 19-14-4
Dal 15-8-10
Det 16-13-6

Interesting stat BUT:

1) Some teams like Colorado who are annually in the post season know that the first few months of the season don't matter as much as long as you make the playoffs.

2) Teams like Ottawa can do whatever they want in the regular season, but the question is can they reproduce this in the playoffs?

Playoff hockey is a completely different game, unless for some strange reason this year is special and the NHL decides to actually enforce its "new rules" through the playoffs.

P.S. Vancouver isn't going past the second round......if even there.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
interesting stuff all right!

interesting stuff all right!

I noticed a few of these in other trends.

such as WA is now 3-16-1-1 vs teams with more points than them

or Vanc is 23-10 ATS vs teams with winning records.

and the ats record is revealing with some,
such as MN is 19-8 ats vs teams with winning records.
