South Carolina over Stanford.
This will be considered an upset, but I really like David Marchbanks in the first game. He's 15-2 and 2.39 pitching against the other team's ace all year. He was easily the best pitcher in the SEC. I look for him to keep Stanford's run production lower than what the Gamecocks are capable of scoring.
Fullerton over LSU.
Just feel the Fullerton guys are too strong in this one. LSU doesn't have a power pitcher who can shut them down; Fullerton has more than one.
SWMS over Rice
If it wins, I double my earnings. Rice lost the first game to Houston in the supers and won 3-2 in 10 innings over McNeese St. in the first game of the regional on their home field. SWMS is experienced and confident and ripe for another upset over a major.
Texas over Miami.
Miami had a hard time with NCSt at home. Texas whipped FSU twice on the road.
