those pills really made you come out tonight. i salute you for exposing your style, based on knowledge of the teams. this is the only way you can consistently stay in the black laying wood, which you have showed us with your record.

for me and many others, we find gold in other ways, mainly looking for those over-rated dogs, great value differentials, usually based on stats, trends, etc. so my guess is that we are normally or should be on different games (remember last weekend?). you will skip those you don't feel good about, and those are the ones we should be picking up.

looks like two opposites can actually come out here, as it boils down to the same: game selection.

so i pick s.d. to beat seattle tomorrow sunday. you will skip that one, won't you? i really would like to hear your side, either here or on my thread on the game.

Fletcher,
congrats! It's only popping off when you talk and don't walk it. You definitely have shown that you can talk it and walk it. It is what is, that's not bragging as they say.
I have been following your plays as well as
a few others for a while now, just recently began to post replies.

Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your posting of your plays. Did not see your analysis of the plays until afterwards. I played them both last night. Thank you. I also know backs as well as that is what my career is based on. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Fletch,
As always, thanks for another great day. To your bashers, all they need to do is look at your daily summary. I think your YTD total is something like +$87160. That's something most of us can only dream about, it says it all.
Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thanks and keep 'em coming!

Fletch.

yet again, thank you...superb write ups and fantastic picks...I love looking up my results on my offshore after a night out (like now) and seeing WWWWWWW. Not a loss today in the picks of yours I managed to get on between golf and life... I look forward to meeting you at superbowl weekend and shaking your hand. You must know that there are a thousand silent lurkers who respect you for every blowhard a$$hole who gives you a negative email on a rough day....

cheers (as always)

I already gave you props in my own post, but you deserve much more, so Thanks!! Most who have been around since CFB have no doubts about your ability. I don't... I have a difficult time laying the lumber on heavy fav's in Bases, but I've never heard you so confident as you were on the CWS. ( I hope it wasn't the DRUGS!!!

but even so, hell who cares?? ) The last time was during the end of COLLEGE FB and you KILLED EM that week. I remember well... I wasn't with you!!

Anyway, we all do apprecitate your picks, so keep em coming. And if you find time, give us a few more pearls of wisdom...

Fletcher,

I like your picks,I like Saraloos today, how bout you? I have watched CSF all year on TV,home games on OCN,they have majority Orange County kids and Horton is a good coach.CSF went down to Miami and swept earlier this year.Miami doesnt have the arms neccessary.CSF,SC,and Stanford are top 3,CSF has great D behind their pitching.CSF kids have very good fundamentals.Miami and Tenn made more errors than a little leauge team.

I kind of thought you were playing too much chalk myself, but your results speak volumes.

Do you think the increase of inter-division games, and the decrease of travel is helping the big chalks in MLB?

I agree 100% on betting on your game knowledge, rather than stats and trends, being a former catcher you must know more about the game than the other 8 guys.I would take that over pokers or koshors who dont know about coach G having his kids getting their hands above the ball.

Titans all the way.

Fletcher,
Don't post here to often. Not sure if you ever heard of me.I post in talksport most of the time capping college football and b-ball.Know more about baseball then any other sport but not a great capper.Am doing pretty good in madjacks baseball contest though.
Yest.I read your post about USC and Miami.I have followed college baseball for years but never put a dime on it.
Well you convinced me.Miami and USC are always there. The Fullertons,Zona's etc always seem to be there in the CWS's.
I pounded both of your picks in a parlay along with the Marlins under.
Thank you for your insight and expertise.I owe you one big time. Will follow you from now on.
Today I turned 50.Last nite at midnite my kids, wife and I were all watching Sat.Nite Live.At midnite one of my 4 kids started to sing "happy birthday".
they all kissed me and hugged me.later on my wife got a little serious and said"hon, are you a little down hitting the big 5 0".
For a second I said "maybe" but then I thought about it. I rememebered that parlay and sweet win I had won earlier.I told her "Na,not at all hon".
Thanks for that bithday gift. Box

working on somethings now trying to confirm something ,if i dont like a game i willnot play them just to have a game,as you saw i didnot play tulane and stanford.
kind of like cal.st
you have to know who can throw and how long they can go,when its a losers bracket game you have to find out whats going on with pitching staff, game 274 are hard to do because of the fast turn around and teams if they a in the winneres bracket game play it inning by inning so to position them self for the semi's and finals it takes alot of thoughts on playing each innining and as a coach you have to look at the big picture,so thats why the next 2 winners bracket games are tuff, you have to play chess with your pitchers in hopes of keep moving on,does you no good to win 3 stright by useing your top 3 guys then be in championship with a back up starter because most college teams are on a 3 man rotation, and then 2 floaters,so if you make the championship but have no pitching except by comittie then you are screwed, now its a coaching game more then a players game this round, semi's get back to normal because you are set with some type of plan and roatition again. so these games sun and mon are chess matches not true baseball might pass. or play cal.st
