The 2002 Chicago Bears have matched the franchise record for futiliy. An ignominious moment is upon them.

The Bears have been visible enough in their recent contests against Philadelphia, New England and St. Louis for most people to form their own opinion on the state of their team.

No need to talk to me about miscarriages at quarterback or Detroit having matchups to exploit or looking ahead to the Packers. Either the Bears want it or they don't.

I know Chandler has taken the heat but I don't think its his fault. The O-line play has been so bad he has no time to throw. The play calling has been questionable but when you have no time to throw, it pretty much limits the play calling. I think the under is the play; we may get some bad weather here in the next few days. I hope you're right but I think I'm passing on the side.

I like the bears this week also, They won't lose 9 in a row, and I think their defense makes a statement after stewart ran all over them in the first game. They will shut him down and force Joey to beat them and I don't think he can.

Like Valuist said bad weather is expected, which sucks b/c I am going to the game, but I think that favors the bears.
