On Nov. 11 these two played in Dallas with the Mavs winning a low scoring affair 83-72.

However.............

-Three primetime players were absent from that tout and will be ready for action tonight:

*Van Exel.....injured on 11-11
*Bonzi Wells....suspended by the league on 11-11
and
*LaFrentz....injured on 11-11

-These three are major contributors to the scoring of their respective teams......especially Wells.

*Van Exel 11' ppg
*Wells 12' ppg
and
*LaFrentz 9' ppg

-I know the Mavs haven't had the best of success in the Rose Garden at 8-39 overall.

-However, Nellie has the pieces of the Mavs puzzle ready for Portland tonight. Although you'd like to see that "scrappy" hustler Najera available for duty. I think the return of Van Exel and LaFrentz more than makes up for the loss of Najera and his 9 ppg average.

-Portland has averaged 93' ppg in their last 5 home games......the Mavs have averaged 99 ppg in their last 5 road games!!

-I don't see Nellie getting into an ugly, in the trenches kinda game with Portland like last time. Especially with all that "firepower" he has at his command tonight.

-If Portland wants to hang tonight.....Cheeks is going to have to get some offense out of his "criminals" Wallace, Patterson and Stoudamire.

-How this bunch of "criminals" are even functioning as a team is beyond me.......even beating Houston after drug busts and domestic violence incidents.

Well........Dallas ain't Houston my friends.

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Give me two plays in this matchup please.......

-I like the Dal/Port O 190....two fresh teams (Dal 2 days rest and Port with 4) legs will be no problemo and Nellie will push his fresh team.....as Cheeks' team tries to keep up

-I like the Mav's laying the 3 to the "criminals" (ya gotta root for the "good" guys in this one)

LY...152-102-2 (59.84%)
YTD...20-5 (80.00%)
LN.....0-1 (-100%)

Good call on the Dal game. Sometimes the line makes a difference. I capped it under 191'. We both would have won. Good luck tomorrow

Thanks guys..........

Thanks guys..........

That Mavs/Blaz O/U was an extremely tight line!!

-Cheeks could only ignite one of his "criminals" to perform last night:

*Wallace......34 pts
*Patterson.....4 pts in 15 minutes
*Stoudamire....2 FREAK'N pts in 16 minutes

-However, Stoudamire's 2 were very important as they came with 4 seconds left to secure the win on the OVER play. This "criminal" was only 1-5 and his buddy Patterson was 1-3.

MAN......I HATED IT WHEN MY FATE RODE IN THE HANDS OF (0-4 at the time) STOUDAMIRE'S FINAL SHOT OF THE GAME!!! wow

-Nellie darn near "called the dogs off" a shot too early.

-Way too much "dribbl'n the game out" by both teams in that final 3+ minutes and only 7 pts!!!

-That's were the "scrappy" Najera was missed coming off the bench late game......that dude only has one speed.....110%.

-With Najera I think this one ends with 4 to 6 more on the scoreboard!

Joe......glad you Roger (and others on the under 192) were able to cover as well.....BUT....had that OVER not hit.....I woulda been robbed. :D ez
