Should not have let myself be tempted by a must win situation for a team like Dallas. Very apropos game considering the Stars' season. They end a 50 game winning streak when leading after 2 periods by tying a non-playoff team at home after Belfour lets in *2* soft goals.

I wouldn't write this team off for the future because with Arnott, Modano and Turco playing next year they will be solid. They will probably be in the market for any free agents, too. Just a tough loss for me personally, though.

Nick,

Just plug away, you are a great capper so I am sure you will come back with a big winner tomorrow night.

As for the Stars, you are right they will hit the free agent market. I am sure they will try to outbid NYI for Amonte. They need a 3rd line centre and there will be plenty. Modano & Turgeon are fine up the middle but you need depth and they didn't have it this year. Too many players came and went through that dressing room this year. It just goes to show you, teams that fire a coach in mid season usually don't turn around as much as these GM's think. Look at Florida, Keenan added nothing and Wilson added nothing in Dallas. NJ is a little better with Constantine but if you look back at when NJ really turned it on was when they brought back Robinson to be an assistant. Weird but true.

GL tomorrow!
