Dallas -4.5 over Giants ******
I know this line has dropped big time from -6.5 which I played earlier in the week to todays -4.5
I know all about the trends and past games...but lets just deal with the teams today....Jints got blown out by Philly last week...beaten in almost every phase of the game...Cowboys are on cloud 9 just beating everyone up with Roma and co...Giants showed they could win a few games with their new offense beating the Texans and Falcons....Cowboys are the better team without any doubt...esp the way their playing right now...Cowboys have a better OL,better Qb,a better RB in DeMarco and better TE's..Jint offense has a avg OL with no LT,no rb's except a rookie,and big time ? marks on its wr's...Cruz their best wr is out..the fact that he has not been an impact player this year he does causes defenses to adjust and double team...Jint defense is missing some players or they are banged up...Crow at CB might not play.. Beason is a ?..they called up fenner from the practice to squad to play...pass rush has been terrible...McCoy broke out of his slump last week and ran thru holes as big as the Lincoln tunnel...Jint aes going against the hotest RB in the game in Murray....he has gained over 700-800 yds and about 500 of those are on 1st down...Romo is 2nd down and 2 or 3 .That is the No 1 reason why the cowboys rank No 1 in the NFL in 3rd down conversions..Dez and Williams will be a nightmare for the Jints secondary and who stops Murray...Jints have to many holes on both lines...the only hope is if you catch the Cowboys flat after lasts week win...but their playing at home...I am throwing all the trends out and past out... Cowboys win this big....
In 1969 my roommate and I are freshman at North Texas...the Giants are playing the Cowboys at the Cotton Bowl...on a bed sheet we sprayed with paint " Dallas 5-0 and then along came Jones"...in reference to Homer Jones NY's top WR...we snuck the bed sheet into the cotton Bowl and displayed it, put in on a railing....we had to take it down after about 30 minutes...but my roommate kept the sheet and the next 4 years it decorated his rooms. he still has it today..
Today my son drove up to Dallas from Austin with his girlfriend and painted a bed sheet " Dallas 5-1 and then along came Eli"........not sure what the Giant score was in 1969 but they lost.... to think 45 years later the same results could occur....
