Kurt Busch will start up front, but one - never qualifies well here and two - does not have a great race car to start up front. He will drive defensively since he does have a 40 something lead and habitually lets the crew fix his car during pitstops.
Different theory with Dale Jr.; he crashed his car in practice and will be using his backup with only five laps of practice due to rain (which cancelled qualifying). Thing here is Jr. liked his back-up car better and the crew had more time to get to race set-up.
