It absolutely boggles my mind that you can blame that loss on Darvish. He had a quality start! How about blaming that anemic Texas offense?

Favorites -280 or more

Hey ya'll, this year, favorites of -280 or higher, are 1-14 ATS/SU, Kershaw only fav over -280 to win and it was a late inning win for that game for the Dodgers, onl the other hand, favs more than -300 are 0-8 this year!!

This info from at least what I have tracked in the past 3 months!

Wrong numbers, favs 200 to 260 were 37-29, -1380.

On Saturday, they were 3-0 but covered the RL only 1 time.

Sorry for the incorrect first figure !

Chalklader aka Verlander is responsible for at least four of those losses:142smilie

Kershaw goes today. To back him in a parlay or not.

Don't want to talk you off Kershaw but he only went 6 innings against the cubs and threw only 25% fastballs . This time of year a lot of pitchers have "tired arms" That being said the Rockies are a horrible team.

Over 200 favs went 2-2 yesterday, 0-4 vs RL,

CK is 2-0 TY at Colorado, mid-afternoon day game, Rockies just 2-8 vs LHP during day games, ave score 6-4.

CK has been the best and most consistent pitcher this year and first time Ramirez has played at Rox this year, so he may be the deciding bat here. Rox playing more youngsters and letting vets get their hacks, ie., Helton, Cuddyer, but their pitching sucks, Bettis has yet to win his first ML start.

Money line steamed from -205 to -260, my book gave me -220 and -135 RL, I'm passing on that, would lean to Dodgers ML only, because their BP is better.

So, what about trying to beat the chalk by parlaying? I know it increases the risk by 2, but

If you really like the chalk , then sure use the parlay. I know the risk may increase but you don't get slammed by the juice ,if you lose.
Juice kills everyone . You lose a couple games with the heavy chalk and you'll be chasing all. Year.

I would recommend doing an open parlay unless you really like two teams on the Same day. Don't force yourself to pick a game just for the sake of closing out a parlay . Wait for another game you like and close it out. This way if you lose it really doesn't matter because you would have bet that game anyway and maybe saved some juice

Whats an open parlay and what sites have that. I don't think Pinnacle has that option.

Say u want a two team parlay but not sure of the second half of the parlay . You say u want a two team open parlay . Pick the first team in the parlay with one open means u can add a second team to your parlay to close it. Most books give u up to 14 days to close it .

For instance yesterday u had a two team open parlay with the dodgers since they won u have 14 days to pick the second team . If u like someone today u say u want to close the parlay with team -----

Pinnacle should have this option
