Dayton at St Joe

OK.....I had to go and handicap this game to see if I was losing my mind.......but the line is very close to where it should be.

St Joes -15.5????

Man.....on the outside that looks like a TON of points. It is actually justifed, but I know I cant give that many.

I am curious to see the thoughts on this line. I thought this was the only legitimate chance that any team had to knock these guys off before the tourney.

I would think that the public would love to grab these points......

I have this game handicapped at about Joe's -19. Very hard to gauge which way the public is going to go on this one: take this years' big undefeated cinderella at home or grab the points with a decent 19-3 Dayton team.

Personally, I cannot go against Joe's (especially at home) right now but I can't lay that many points either. Looks like a good game to pass on for me.

Also, don't forget, Dayton swept Joe's last year. Double revenge.

im sticking to what i said a week ago.

im not a big believer in st.joes in terms of the ncaas, but i dont think dayton is going to be a problem for the hawks

the only real test where joes can lose is in rhode island.

dayton to me is overrated. maybe not overrated, just not as good as their record might indicate.

but yeah- thats a ton of pts in that gm regardless

This is a shocking amount of points. But it does look almost too good to be true. Probably will have to pass, Joes has just been stomping everyone, if the win, it will likely be big.

the number tells me ST Joes covers. I too think St Joes aint everything people think they are, but Dayton may be the worst team with a record like that in a long time. Hawks will win big and then we will hear how this win proves something when it really doesnt.

Junior......I think I agree with what you had to say. In my opinion, to the blind eye, this looks like an amazing amount of points to give, but if you handicap the game, you will see that it is justified. I think Dayton will probably be the public team as they will view this as the last chance St Joes has to lose.....

Damn.....I was expecting less, but that was before I looked at the game myself.

Hey!!..move off my flyers...they take care of business...good D..nice inside game with Finn and Waleskowski...marshall can play but must step up today....They play good teams tough and like i have said all year, their only real down fall is lowering themselves to the level of lesser opponents...they willbe up for this one...granted i am a little biased being an alum..but look for them to cover tonight....may just have to bet the ML too!!

i've said it before and surely will regret it but until they do NOT cover, it does not matter what the line is.

i've never seen a team on a covering run like this. i pushed the Nova game so i can still say my streak is still going.
