A few questions:
If we pick chalk in the CP thread, are you just going to assume that we are betting to win 1 unit, unless you hear otherwise?
Likewise, if we pick a dog, are you assuming we're risking 1 unit?
Is this how the CP's record is kept?
One final thought:
You might recommend in the thread that people make a pick before reading the thread. I'm not saying they aren't, but I find it hard to believe that people looked at the slate of games today and half of everybody picking completely on their own came up with Houston laying tons of chalk.
That said, I do like the play. I'd like it a lot more in the sub -150 range. Reitsma has terrible WHIP, and a pretty poor ERA over quite a few innings (last year). I have no idea if he's improved at all. Should be a pounding.
Lastly, thanks for maintaining that thread. I know its a lot of work. I like checking it everyday, and it gave me a win yesterday on a game I wasn't going to play.
