One of my debit card #'s was stolen sometime in the past couple of weeks. I have a pretty good idea of who did it, because I rarely use this debit card. I only use this account to pay my credit card.
They bought $150 from a JC penny catalog yesterday. I called my bank, and they said there was nothing they could until the transaction posted. They said call JC penny and see if they can cancel it for you. I called JC penny and they told me they couldn't look up a charge using my debit card #, so they did a search for my name and nothing came up. They proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do. I was livid at this point, and I asked, how in the hell did the charge go through if they didn't use my name? They beat around the bush and told me to call my bank back. Bastards.
Keep in mind, I still have my debit card in hand . I started a tab at a bar a couple weeks ago, and I'm almost positive one of the bartenders wrote it down. I'm filing a police report tomorrow and I'm taking it to the bank when I fill out the affidavit. I want this fuker who did this to at least get some repercussion for his/her actions.
