Night 1 (6/26)

Bill DeBlasio - I thought he did well. Promoted a strong D Party and raised his hand (along with Warren) when asked who would support leaving their Private HC in favor of universal HC. I think he earned a chance to keep going.

Tim Ryan - He made some good points but is not ready for this. Time to exit.

Julian Castro - Came off as presidential but I'm not sold on him. Keep going.

Cory Booker - Doesn't do it for me but he's got a lot of support. Keep going.

Beto O'Rourke - I've seen enough. He didn't answer the direct questions. He needs to exit.

Elizabeth Warren - She did well. I don't want to like her but she started to win me over. Keep going.

Amy Klobuchar - She did well enough. Keep going.

Tulsi Gabbard - Terrible. Didn't answer the direct questions. Trying too hard to let everyone know she was in the military. Time to exit.

Jay Inslee - Mediocre. Probably time to exit.

John Dulaney - Terrible. Time to exit.

Good summary. I'd expected Gabbard to do better. Nope, dud. We'll see the rest tonight.

Biden's the favorite, but I'm wearing my Kamala Harris T-shirt. It doesn't piss the local Trumpettes off, because they don't know who she is.

Night 2 (6/27)

Marianne Williamson - Never heard of her but I really thought she did well. She challenged people that have had chances to get stuff done and have done nothing. Not a fan of her push for reparations but she's very well spoken and seems quick witted and intelligent......THEN I read about her being an anti-vaxer and heard her comments about calling New Zealand's PM. Time to exit.

John Hickenlooper - He may as well of not shown up. Time to exit.

Andrew Yang - Never heard of him and don't think I need to hear any more. Time to exit.

Pete Buttigieg - Very well spoken. Thoughtful, intelligent answers. Can he hang with Trump in a verbal fire fight when Trump spews his fact-free insults? Not sure. Keep going.

Joe Biden - Not an impressive showing but he's still the favorite IMO. Keep going.

Bernie Sanders - Bernie was Bernie, for better or worse. Keep going.

Kamala Harris - She came off as a very strong candidate although I don't know if she can win. Keep going.

Kirsten Gillebrand - Same as Kamala, she did well but I don't know if she can win. Keep going.

Michael Bennet - He tried but I just don't see him as a strong enough personality to deal with Trump. Also, he sounds like a character in South Park. Time to exit.

Eric Swalwell - He did well enough but I don't think there is enough room for him. Time to exit.

I don't know why Klobuchar gets so little respect. She's got lots of experience, and is battle-hardened.

She didn't impress me in the debate. I have heard good things about her but I wasn't impressed with her on Wednesday night and she could have separated herself with a stronger position on universal HC.

Not to worry. Kamala Harris is my pick anyway. Trump, she'll rip his tiny balls off.

Hell's Bells, Hillary Clinton, the worst candidate Democrats could find, got more votes than Trump. And that was before most folks even knew what a vile POS he is.
