Have to agree with you here Scott .... can't understand the line here after ass-whipping Denver put on Indy last Sunday night .... only concern is that Denver is already in the play-offs and Green Bay needs to win I believe?? Still agree totally with your call but I'll probably go ahead and take the points here .... also I see the Falcons are actually favored this week?? What up with that?? Seems kind of fishy as I would think Jax wins this game straight up .... what do you think about that one??

I watched the way Denver dismantled the Colts. Gary ran for 136 yards in place of Portis.

They are playing at a very high level of football right now.

They can rest Portis and his ankles, and let this Gary guy run rampant through Green Bays defense.

This play was actually made on emotion.

It is Key #5 when I looked at this game.

Favre has just gone through a emotional time with his Dad passing. Lets face it the man was 58. This is a shock to have gone through. Favre is not Superman.

Big letdown game on the horizon and I won't blame him a bit
when Favre don't play very well come Sunday.

For Favre to come out and have that type of game was impressive. The thing about it though is that Favre had no pressure on him as no one could expect him to play like that under those conditions. But he did.

This week is differant. This is the Denver Broncos we are talking about. Green Bay needs this win at home . There is alot at stake for the Green Bay team.

This is a solid Denver team playing well. And Jake Plummer may play the majority of the game as far as I read.

Favre just buried his Dad at the funeral. This will very much affect his plays. Lets face it Favre is human too. The GB team stood up and played hard. GB expended too much energy as a team.

I think Shannihan wants this Denver team to set a tone going into the playoffs. Denver Broncos will do that. They will set the imprint of their cleats on Green Bays :moon:

Denver

Do you that Denver maybe playing a lot of back ups due to their clinching a playoff berth. In the past when this has happened Shanahan has played second stringers and played his starting QB sparingly. You think the Packers were playing on emotion what do you think Denver was playing on? 2 DB's out for Denver.
A few years back Denver came into Green Bay in the same type of position and the Packers won 41-7. That was the same year Denver was 13-1 at the time. If this game meant anything to Denver I would have made this one of the largest plays of the season on the Bronco's. This game probably would have come out as a three if it was a meaningful game for Denver.

Just a suggestion from me...........Be careful, I'm not a homer and don't always pick GB, but this game sets up perfect for the packers. With Portis out and Plummer coming out early, the packers will run wild. Look for there to be about 55 points scored.

Just my point of view.......

Good Luck
