$1 Tri

8,12,14,16 with 8,12,14,16 with ALL

8,12,14,16 with ALL with 8,12,14,16

$1 Excata

8,12,14,16 with ALL

I really loved the 8 Goldencents heading into this week, but anything can and usually does happen when running for the roses. Spending more than I wanted to but, If I can get lucky and cash the profit should be very nice.

good luck

fyi

you need a $600 tri to break even and you have the top 6 betting selections as part of your 8 and if you hit, odds are you're payout will be less than $600......basically you need charming kitten and palace malice in the money to make money

Even if the fav's come in the pool is always huge and will pay very well.

That being said, you make a great point and Im about to head out to the track and revise my tickets. Will update my final plays.

That is a challenge for me...to bet the race in a way where if my handicapping is correct...I actually make money.

In other words, many times I cap to get in the money but, I spread my wager in such a way (across exotics and wps) that an exacta win doesn't cover the outlay.

That probably sounds more complicated than it should be but, I think that anyone with handicapping skills also has to be equally adept at figuring out the strategy re: how to bet the race.
