We have a really interesting match-up today.
Det (Mliki) at Bos (Castillo). This looks to me like Bos all the way. Castillo looks better than Mliki, Bos 8-3 last 11, Det 1-10.
To make this even better, John Hirshbeck is behind the plate. He is 12 and 1 for the home team. This looks like a LOCK to me.

Here's where it gets interesting. Det has won the last 5 games that Hirshbeck has been behind the plate. Mlicki has won both times that Hirshbeck has been behind the plate and Castillo has lost the only game he has faced Hirsbeck. In all 5 games the total has gone under. This is no surprise. Hirshbeck is 10-2 under this year, his first and last games going over. Even the line looks low for this situation.

The reason i'm pointing this out is because a lot of people are going on Bos tonight. It might not be that good a play. The under might be the better way to go. I think I will leave this game alone.

I would be very careful in backing the sox tonight, although hirshbeck is a homer and he might play make up for the blown call last night, he can't swing the bat for them. The sox should be very tired tonight, not just because the played 18 last night, but because tonight will be their fourth game in four nights, and the first three of those games were all in different ball parks...I could see the sox being worn out....just my opinion...
