Many reasons to like the over here:
1. HP ump Cedarstrom is a hitters ump. 13-3 over when he's behind HP this year.
2. 9 of KC's last 11 home games have gone over the total. They hit better but pitch worse at home. Detroit is the exact opposite.
3. Two lousy bullpens. Detroit pen ERA 5.22 but 6.56 on the road.
KC is 5.40 overall but 6.75 at home.
4. 8.5 is a great number to go over since it is just under the key number 9. It actually hit 9 at Canbet, and the Canbet totals money moves have been very solid in the past month.
5. May is in form but rarely pitches beyond 5 innings which means 4 different innings to whack at that KC pen. Bernero is in good form but let see if he continue that form on the road.
6. Sweeney hitting something like .600 in the past week. Right now neither Walter Johnson or Randy Johnson could get him out.
