Det. looks awful tonight, especially Hasek

I don't understand the Red Wings, how do you come out so sluggish against a team that is coming off a road loss last night. This team is veteran enough to know if you can jump on them early you could put the game away in a hurry, instead it is the Canucks who are putting it to the Wings, thank goodness I have the over.

Looks like one of those nights for Hasek. The fourth goal was a shot from the point on a 2 on 2 right through the wickets. Maybe they should bring in Legace in the third.

Guys,

My new trend for this year and I will only continue it until it fails is that I will post a thread everytime I have a team I played that is down 3 goals going into the third period. I did it on Sunday night when Edm. was down 6-3 in the second and 6-4 heading into the third. Then last night Det. was down 4-1 going into the third and pulled it out in OT. Just one of those weird things.

difference between Hasek and Osgood, is it worth what Detroit
paid ? with that money they could have had two defence man
or one really good like Jovanovski. imo that would have helped much more. well, will see, but in playoffs Detroit won't go too far with that
kind of hockey what we saw yesterday.

You make some good points about them. Also, come playoff time about 1/2 the DET team will have played in the Olympics and probably the All Star game too. Not enough rest for an older team might mean an earlier playoff exit for them.
