Not to me. Seattle has been doing quite well lately. To me, it is a Detroit play. Thought the line would be 120 or so

yeah, seattle has played well but I just can't see them remotely on the same level as detroit, way to inconsistent... the line is climbing steady at my book though... up to 157

I thought it would open at at least -150, so I thought it was low too. Pineiro has been absolutely awful for Seattle this year. He's basically throwing batting practice out there. The M's are in a tailspin, losing 5 of 6, and their offense can't hit water if they fell out of a boat right now. Also, Bonderman is 5-0 with a 2.88 ERA on the road this year. To me this looks like a no-brainer play on Detroit tonight. Then again, most of the times I've thought that way this year I've lost. Common sense doesn't seem to pay off much when betting baseball... at least not this year. Good luck...

Detroit (or any team) a little shakey right now after losing on 7/1 to end that big run. Line might be about right with Pinero 5-0 against Detroit (last win was in 2003 :com: )

Good Pineiro stat IO. I suppose living in Seattle I should have known that! I may not play Detroit, but after watching Pineiro pitch so far this year I know for sure I won't back him. They even had him throw out of the BP last time he pitched to try and "fix" him. Like I said though, the way things are going this year he'll probably come out and pitch a no-no. :mj07:

P.S. The line is now down to -141 at Pinnacle???

Wow. Pineiro throwing absolute grapefruit up to the plate and the Tigers can't do anything with it. He had 6 or 7 hanging breaking balls in the 2nd inning alone, yet they couldn't score. Hope they don't let him off the hook...

seattle can't hit... bottom line... they have their moments but overall it was an "easy" call. hope somepeople made some $$$ tonight.

The line did drop sharply toward SEA late which made me worry but stuck with it, lots of folks like them juicy home dogs.

looking at saturdays card now, I'll post up a play later... not that anyone cares about a lurker like me though. lol... I think I have had about 3 different user names since I signed up in 04 roughly, but always forgot my password and/or never posted.

I'm here to help, lol... <--- (insert worm joke)

Completely agree. Seattle is a great team to fade because they don't score much at all. I wasn't real impressed with the Tigers last night though. They could have jumped on Pineiro early and didn't. Not much of a killer instinct. And I still don't know what got into the M's when they were playing interleague. Oh, wait, they were playing the NL West. :mj07:

By the time the season is over I expect them to be comfortably under .500... I would say a bare minimum of 12 games or so. They're just a bad team. Another thing to look at is to take unders on M's games when they are at home. As you said, they can't score runs and Safeco is a pitcher's park, so their home games tend to be low scoring. Hot, humid days in the summer are the exception because balls fly out. Good luck...
