Sexlexia...
Who was it that posted they were taking the Lions to win the Div @ ~ 10/1 in the pre-season??

Not sure why I just remembered...and hey, certainly a long way from being a winner, but at least he's (she's?) still holding the ticket...at a far bigger price than is currently being offered too :00hour )...
...how about all the people I seem to remember shouting the pick down as a "waste"...that Chicago were 'certain' to win it?

Well, here we are in wk. 10...Det have beaten the Bears twice already and are second fav @ ~3.25, while the Bears are almost no chance, and listed @ 16's...
...Wonder where all those 1.40 tickets are now? ;)

[Seriously, I am quite interested in who that was. ]

Good luck with it the rest of the way... :toast:

On the course!
I don't know who it was, but I was calling the local sports puds here last week and saying, "How come you never mention Detroit?"

Talk about a team getting absolutely no respect.

I (wrongly, of course.) predicted to them that Detroit would slaughter the Broncos, and the Chefs would beat the Packers to have a tie in the North.

These bums had the nerve to tell me how DETROIT was over-achieving!!!!! :mj07:

If Green Bay isn't the poster child for over-achieving, I don't know who is!

I love my old Packers, and hope like hell they keep it up, but come on! Detroit is playing some good ball, too. They might very well be looking down at us after turkey day!

BTW, I picked up a Packer to win the NFC ticket on April 26. $40 to win $800 (20:1)

It was a flier at the time, but if these dopes can somehow win the North, AND have home field for the playoffs............
