DIAMONDBACKS/GIANTS OVER 9 ?120 - While much has been made of the struggles of these two offenses, you may be surprised to know that the Over is 24-21 in all Arizona games and 22-18 in all San Francisco games this year. I think that both teams will be able to put up runs tonight given this pitching match-up. Sparks is 2-4 with a 6.65 ERA overall, and he has been simply atrocious on the road where he has an 8.27 ERA and a 1.74 ratio, with opposing road batters hitting .388 off of him! Hermanson has been a tad better at 1-2 with a 4.13 ERA, but that ERA jumps to 5.06 here at home where hitters are batting .338 off of him. The Diamondbacks also roughed up Hermanson each of the last two times he faced them, as he allowed 14 runs and 20 Men on Base while lasting just a combined 7.1 innings over those two starts. The final piece of this Over equation is the bullpens, as Arizona is dead last in the NL in bullpen ERA at 5.13 while the Giants are third from the bottom with a pen ERA of 4.48.
