When did running it up in bowl games start?? Watching the BYU and Troy games night after night and seeing the coachies will NOT run is killing me. It is 2nd and goal from the 5 and Troy calls a pass up by 17?????????????????????? RAPED!

My personal opinion is as long as someone is onside kicking then If I can score I will. The idiot coach didnt go for 2 making it a 17 point(3 possession) deficit with 5 to go and onside kicks:shrug: If he kicks it deep they run the clock out game over. Sorry for your lose but I dont think 24 is running it up. Not necessary but also not running it up. (JMO)

I agree Hell when I was coaching I always played whistle to whistle but the throwing aspect is what blew my mind.

Also remember that there were many scrubs on the their towards the end.....and that might highlight their carreers to say to their parents.."Did you see me"? Coaches tend to let their kids play to the final whistle.......while trying to enjoy the experience. Just some stat time is all! Glad it stayed under!!
