beat the shoreline and then the deeper cover spots..

nothing the last 3 days..

couple of knocks but nothing in the boat..

our lake/pond/pit slows down to a crawl in late Aug.

we had a super spring and summer though..

as many as 20 in one day between my buddy and I.

5lb 10oz caught last year by him is the current lake record..

I hope to top that before putting the boats up for winter.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I bass fish a ton.. Are the nights getting cooler?

Fish up here in Northern Wisconsin are running deeper in weed cover. Not as aggressive.

I use a wacky worm stile in June, July, and early August but now through the rest of fall, I use a JIG and PIG technique in deeper water with weeds. You should really talk to FDC too.

When Jigging and Pigging bounce that sucker up and down slowly. It really gets to those bass that are laying on the bottom, not finding too many suspended fish right now but once the fall pattern steadies again, it will be fine.

Very nice Old School. Nothing like a bass on the end of your line with the sun coming up and all quiet except the birds chirping.
Good luck
