Different Pools?

Hey just wondering my local doesn't have lines in college hoops, just football. I need a gambling fix!!

Locally: We get 8 guys together draft 8 teams and pay out for wins. Is there any other gambling pools. We usually put in an amount that is agreed on by the 8 guys. It has goten pretty big around here and also We do it in the back of a local bar and there is anywhere from 4-10 groups of 8 drafting the Wed. before te tourney.

if you really want to get into the tournament...heres what we do.....

for the last 3 years....12 of us get together and draft 10 players from the 65 tourney teams.......serpentine style 1-12(1st rd) 12-1(2nd rd) and so forth.....obviously no duplicate players

scoring is simple.....1 pt for each point, steal, rebound, block and assist.......player has no value once team gets knocked out

a guy from our group, will go to cbs.sportsline and copy and paste each teams top 6 or 7 players on a spreadsheet and have a packet ready to go for each of us come wed. night for the draft.....makes the tourney that much better
