Been awhile... But looking forward to a great season. I use a five star ranking system and this is how I break it down:
1 Star = 100.00
I usually come up with one five star play a weekend and this Saturday it is:
Navy +22 versus OSU (5 Star) :director:
I see these pesky bastards every year against ND and they always come to play every down. OSU will win the game, but Navy will eat the clock with the option and will cover easily against the Buckeyes.
Georgia +6 (1 Star)
Georgia has one of the better defenses in the nation. They have accumulated three top ten recruiting classes (Rivals) in a row... I know losing Stafford and Knowshon are big losses, but they still have Green at receiver and one of the fastest defenses in the nation. Georgia will be confident and I wouldn't be surprised to see Dez Bryant against man coverage today.
Toledo +10 (1 Star)
Purdue will be horrible this year...
San Jose St. +34 (1 Star)
USC will be breaking in a new QB albeit Jesus Christ, but the all world freshman lost their true deep threat in Rojo and will be replacing him with Ausbery (Sp?) who had only seven receptions last year... USC is replacing alot on defense, but these newbies might be faster and better than the ones they replaced. I see Barkley making some sensational passes today, but also some wounded ducks. Take the points.
LSU -17 (4 Stars)
Washington is terrible, even my Irish torched them in Seattle last year.
