First off, let me say that I have used betcris for years and still believe them to be in the top five of online sportsbooks. My purpose in posting today is not to deter you from using them, but to deter you from posting up via western union.

I called in my w.u. deposit info at 10:00am c.s.t. today. At 10:45, my deposit still was not credited to my account. I checked westernunion.com and found that my transfer had been "picked up". I contacted Betcris via their live chat option and was told that my deposit was still "pending" (even though it had already been picked up) and that it would be credited to my account within five minutes. After 25 minutes and still no credit to my account, I called them and asked to speak to a supervisor in accounting. After being put on hold for a few minutes, I was told that my deposit was being credited to my account manually by the supervisor. This supervisor supposedly told me that the funds would be in my account by kickoff of the early games. I then asked to speak to the supervisor. My exact words were, "I want to know why such a top-notch sportsbook like yourself, fumbled the ball with my deposit and shut me out of the 11:00am c.s.t. games (of which, both wagers would have won). The CS agent, Irene, told me the deposit was being credited to my account. I asked again to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor refused to take my call...no doubt as to why. I asked for his email address and was given herb@betcris.com. I doubt I will email him...I think the best action is to just use another book.

Like I said, betcris--great book...just don't fund via western union with them. For a W.U. deposit to take over an hour is just ridiculous and their usual great customer service really dropped the ball today.
