Hell if you have the talent to hit the 3s more power to you....more points....need to outscore your opponent

eliminate 1 and done...it's a farce anyway...NCAA is not the babysitter for the NBA anymore.

they ain't ready..to bad...they can work construction..they can work at McDonalds..they can work at Target..they can work at the local denist office as a tech...they can join Peace Corps ...these fine young men can work for your association.

back the 3 point line up 18 inches..

make it mandatory every coach who signs with a 4 year school has to stay 4 years..

play ball...

ya ain't never ever going to see a great college team again..never ever.....

one and done hasn't helped the fundamentals either. Everybody only out for themselves

Raise the height of the basket and eliminate the ability to dunk.
Game will change dramatically.

and it will be a horrible display of clanker after clanker after clanker..

you do realize there aren't 2 great shooters on teams now..

they must force AAU and lower divison[including peewee and above] coach to get back to teaching the basics from layup to glass shot to 10 footer to stop and shoot from 12 foot..to stop dribble shoot w/both hands from 5 foot

height of the bucket ain't the problem.. but it will be when you raise it..you eliminate the dunk and you can forget about the games being on tv

made the 3 pointer to enticing in in all levels when it was introduced as generations got bigger taller and more long ball happy..chic love the long ball... ..coach's from every level are not going to tell their lone superstar on their team to stop shooting the 3...he will just go to another team..

there is an answer..it starts with coaching and acceptance of a less thrilling product

Remember back when we were kids it was a no-no to take the ball to the corner? Now a guy is always there waiting for it to launch a 3. :0corn.....Raise the rim and the tall guys will still be closer....The game has gotten too fast for 3 referees, but then we would see a longer parade to foul line...also if we didn't permit these players to walk and hop (as many complain about). the scores would all be in the 50's...Just my opinion, I could be wrong. :0008

Been saying the same thing over and over for years and years.

The shot clock is too long and the 3-point line is too short. Its gotten better but still not there. I like the NBA but will settle for 25 second (just a second, but that's where they'll go just to be "different") and 22-foot (International line)

The shot Maye hit to win today....and what a shot it was...that's a bad shot 90% of the time. Meaning....the mid-range jumper is and has been gone. Its all 3's and layups with the occasional 15 footer. Drive and Kick, Drive and Kick...it makes no sense to do much else.

Pitino and K (and me) learned this a long time ago, as did a few others. Get 3-4 guys who can shoot it and 1 big man. Not quite small ball but a version of it. Most ideal would prob be mid-90's Houston Rockets.

I love the 3-pointer but not the way it is in college. I love that its more prevalent in NBA but you still earn it. Pickup guys can hit 19'9 (and I know its 20'9 now, still too short). We used to play 1's and 2's in pickup ball way back when we were on a court like that....it was fun but it was ridiculous. Why shoot anything but "2's" and layups...it was basically a 4-pointer.

I mean...do the math and it only makes sense. Also...late game fouling, sometimes with like 4-5 minutes to go...the 1and1 is so archaic....teams miss front end, other team jacks up 3's...defense not rewarded b/c shot clock so long. Ok, same rant as always...its gotten better but still needs to be down to 25 sec's and 22-Feet. Rant over...for now haha...How 'Bout Dem Heels!!! hahaha love it

I would sometimes try to get guys to play "2's and 3's" in pickup ball but that was seen as "not cool" I guess...so yeah, we basically played with a 19'9" 4-point line, which was ridiculous and most of the game was either fast break trying to get a layup, occasional drive trying to get a layup....and mostly a glorified "3-point contest" which of course was worth the equivalent of an extra point.
