One of my new years resolutions was to increase my charitable work and in the process of looking around I found this. Volunteer for a day and get a free days pass to any of the theme parks. It is great for me because we were planning on going to disney in feb. anyway. I know there have been a few other interested in disney tickets and such so check this out. I really like how this year is starting out.

I've always had a soft spot for Walt Disney and his legacy. (Same goes for Dr. Seuss and Charles Schulz.) Now another reason why.

"We want to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service to a participating organization in their communities . . ."

UGA,

Are you heading South or West ?

Disneyland is about 110 miles from me.

I know the Park(s) and area well.

I am trying to work in some time if my body
stops breaking down. It's always something
with me.

What was your service opportunity? Looks like a good plan.

We served at a community center in Alabama that sells items in order to provide food for the less fortunate in the area. Me and a friend took care of the manual labor and the wives worked out front. There are plenty of different opportunities though. They also have one around here that will give you 2 tickets for each gallon of coke tabs you turn in. Dont really understand it as the tabs arent worth much, but they will do it.

Illuminati-- We will be heading south about 8 hours.

I haven't been to Disney World since 1973.

That's a lot of Coke to drink to make 1 gallon of tabs.

It takes in between 3500-4100 tabs to fill one:shrug: Thank god my father in law is a good hearted alchoholic that collected these for years with the belief they helped people with cancer when donated. He has 3 and 1/2 gallons worth:scared
