Nova -7 over Michigan *****
So much already written so not going to add much....Nova is the better team,has the better offense and has taken no prisoners in this tournament...they have 4 or 5 players that can create and dribble ..plus shoot...they play outstanding defense but maybe not as good as Michigan...Brunson is the superstar out there.. Wagner is tough...but whn you break it all down Spellman,DiVenzio,Booth,Paschall etc can score vs even good defenses..the rims are very tight in the Alamodome...in the Mich semifinals they were 7-28 and if you watched the misses the ball hit those tightened rims and bounced off hard...thought Nova would have the same problem in the 2nd game, so what do they do..break a 3 pt record in the 1st half...because the ball never hit the rim...almost 80% of those 3's were swishes...thought maybe the depth perception in the dome would have some effect....it had none
Think Nova gets out in front tonight,keeps a close eye on Wagner and wins this by 10-14 pts...Michigan had a great run and has an outstanding coach Beilin....but Brunson and company are to good and will send the Wolverines home a loser
Its nice that both coaches belonged to my NY State Basketball Coaches Assoc as members...when Wright was out Lemoyne and Beilin at Rochester...

the CBI Champions....be back doing Army football in the fall...appreciate all the good cappers here....

And why didn't the Miss St womans coach foul with 3 seconds left...but it was Easter Sunday...Our Mother or Notre Dame guided that last second shot anyway...and tonite I hope you remember Nova is run by " the Order of Saint Augustine .....but ATS cannot be really counted on ..St Augustine might make Villanova win outright but they don't include point spreads...only Bingo on Tuesdays is counted..
