Not a bad start yest. Marlins folded up completely and Mets yanked one out of their rear-end, everything else pretty close.
Col/Cin Over 10 --- Jennings is a BP Machine this year, period. Shoot, he's better at Coors, too! Acevedo will have a hard time holding down Helton and the Hammers, who are swinging well. Kind of a no-brainer the longer you look at it. 1 Unit.
Pit/SD Over 9 (Game 1) --- Benson not sharp right now and SD had an extra day in beautiful Pittsburgh, PA to chew on getting swept at home. Unfortunately, you won't find a picture of Lawrence in the "Stopper" file. Someone please pipe up with the warning on why I'm a sucker here. Lucky 13 runs is the bet. 1 Unit.
KC/Tex Over 11 --- Bandbox. Coors South. Gobble only gave up 2 to Tex at KC this year, but 10 hits in 5.1 innings. Chan Ho Park wasn't this good last trip vs. KC and I doubt he has found any movement on that Van Poppel-like fastball. Weather???? Sunny, hot and windy. 1 Unit.
CWS (Schoenweis/Davis) -120 ---- Looking for a script-flip from these starters tonite. SS has only one bad outing to point to this year, and it was the Tribe doing the deed. But he's great at nite, on the road and is hot since that game. Jason Davis has been Sybil, and the league hits .300 against him. Look at RL. 1 Unit.
Cubs (Zambrano/Rueter) -1.5, +105 ---- Streak play. Cubs seem very confident at the plate w/their street fighter on the mound. Rueter has been solid over the years against the Cubs, but this one is just a case of "ride her 'til she bucks 'ya , boy!" 1 Unit.
Det/Oak Under 8.5 --- Another streak play. Former teammates face off again tonite. Oakland is a pitcher's paradise. Neither team lighting up the scoreboard. I'll ride. 1 Unit.
