After that fiasco in Cincy where Rogers had another nice one blown by the pen, followed by the the D-Rays thumping the Padres to get their current streak rollin', I had to lick my wounds a bit.
Played in a 3-day Best Ball all weekend and made a 5-team playoff that was NUTS. 100+ in the gallery, and I make two Goosen-like par saves to stay alive, but after 2 holes of the play-off, they have a chip-off to decide it. 3 freakin' days of playing as a team decided by a 60-yd pitch:thefinger Y'all know how hard that shot is, and I tried one in front of the crowd and nearly brained one of the ladies w/ an all-world skank:shrug:
Bye-Bye Interleague:thefinger :thefinger :thefinger
AZ/SD -- These two teams are reeling. SD took nothing positive out of a solid trip to the Bronx. They had been murdering LHP until last week, when they were stoned by Hendrickson & Lilly. Fossum's antics this season are a matter of public record, but SD is on a slide I can't resist. AZ just isn't hitting and Valdez much better at home. Pitcher's park to add to both offense's misery. I'll bite........Under 8, +104.
Oak/Ana --- Lackey is improving thru June so far, but patient offenses can get to him by putting him in the stretch to wait for what, for the most part this year, has been the inevitable mistake. Rich Harden has been erratic, but is keeping the team around. I'll fade Lackey, and I am staring at the over as well
.......Let's play 'em side by side.......Oak +108, Over 8.5, -110
