Kenny Smith is an idiot? I swear that guy doesn't offer any real insight and when he tries to, he can't get his facts straight. Last night. Peter Vescey was trying to make a point about Del Harris taking the 1970?(not sure what year) to the NBA finals.....Kenny Smith corrected him and said it was Bill Fitch and he knew this because he saw it on Classic Sports. Then 5 minutes later someone informed everyone Vescey was right. I mean, did I hear all this wrong? I wasn't paying too close attention....I like how he says, Toronto are done. They won't make the play-offs. What the hell is he talking about? They play Cleveland at home and Milwaukee goes to Detroit. One last example was when they talked about Isiah Thomas and Jalen Rose. Idiot K.S. goes, Isiah couldn't make it work with Jalen. It was Isiah's fault. Then Vescey goes, "I know from personal knowledge (He is friends with Larry Bird) that Jalen Rose never ran the plays correctly and that Bird would have traded him but didn't want to cause any controversy because he was leaving anyway. K.S. response is to throw some cliche and then move on...I have nothing personal against this guy, but it seems like he hates Peter Vescey for being educated and making sense when all he can do go Ra Ra Ra.. I expect a fist fight to break out sometime soon between these two.
