I see the line has come down to 7.5 and with Pedro probably not pitching past the 6th inning, I think it could have some value. I know when a true ace is pitching alot of times the pitcher is not given much run support and the other teams' pitcher steps up because he knows he has to if his team will win. But I still think this has a good shot of going over if Pedro is limited on his pitch count today. Plus I am sure Boston remembers what happened on opening day last year when they couldn't give him any run support. I haven't forgotten. :(

Obviously the Play of the Day. Who'd a thunk it??

What a weird game. So far thru 2 innings, Pedro gives up 6 ERs on 7 hits AND strikes out 3 in a row, while Carpenter gives up a single AND 3 solo dongs.

I heard Pedro bulked up in the offseason and didn't pitch too well in spring training. Might be a good idea to fade him in the next few starts. He'll still be -250 or worse on the moneyline; why not take a shot against him?

Wish MLB was like the Final Four. The Braves are shutting out the Phils, so why not switch to BoSox/Blue Jays? Tony Clark just hit a 3-run homer with no one out to make the score 8-6 now. This is getting very interesting......

Okay, I get it......this game is going to be one of those 4-1/2 hour marathons, right?;) The Cubs/Reds game is gonna be over before THIS one. Red Sox have come back to take a 10-8 lead. Pretty wild stuff.
