Braves have 1st and 2nd 0 outs and chipper has 2-0 count against a pitcher who can not find the plate and you swing at a ball and hit weak pop up! That is an automatic take for any ball player. Then they get 3-1 count and chase one. That is a taking situation with pitcher struggling also. Sure if you get one down the shoot. Bad Bad baseball in my opinion. Let a struggling pitcher off the hook. Saw it the other night in the Giants game also. Cub were coming back in the 8th and Hawkins could not throw a strike. THey were down one and leadoff guy walked. Next hitter is 1-0 and they bunt what was a ball! Next hitter has 2-0 and chases a ball and pops it up. Sorry, I just think this hitters are so undisciplined it is amazing. I see a lot of times where a pitcher is not capable of throwing three strikes on the night but still they chase. Maybe I am wrong.
