It seems like the G-Men have had the cards number over the past couple of years. They are also do for a win, and I think they will win the game by at least a touchdown. Why are so many on the cards, they're not that good.

NY wins 31-17

The main reason is the Giants don't look that good either. Plan and simple this team has been a disappointment after last season. Back to reality for the Giants. I wouldn't feel confident in laying down 5.5 with the Giants right now. Maybe at 3. This team will play for pride the rest of the way and I agree with you they are due for a win. Arizona has played the same, but lately they've shown some life.

Good Luck

last game they played could have easily gone to ariz.

since then, giants have gone on a free-fall and ariz has shown signs of life. their trends are going in opposite directions, and the weaker trend is giving 5 points?

aside from the physical problems the giants may be facing, they are just about psychologically destroyed, while ariz is starting to believe in themselves, as evidenced by some of their latest games.

this line should be in the area of giants -2 or so, and only because they are home, if that makes any difference at this time. probably the anticipated new york money is what makes this line so big.

The last game between these two was a very close one. In the middle of the 4th qtr, Az was 4th down and 4, on the NYG 38 yard line. They obviously didn't convert, but the game came down to that play.

Since that loss Az has gone 3-1 as their offessive coordinator is finally calling plays that better suit Plummer. The first half of the year they kept Jake in the pocket, and he just has never been that comfortable there.

In their three recent wins Jake was rolling out of the pocket, which usually brought a line backer in, which in turn opened up the middle.

They have also thrown to David Boston when double covered and he has had a lot of success. When the other team finally rolls triple coverage his way, MarTay Jenkins has stepped up.

Oddly, In the loss last week, Az had fallen back into their old ways of doing things (i.e. keeping Jake in the Pocket) and they came out very flat. One player went as far to say that they perfer to play on the road. (Sun Devil Stadium is usually 1/2 empty)

As others have said, this game appears to be a tale of 2 teams going in 2 different directions. Az is a VERY young team and I feel that they became over-confident( really to strong a word, but can't think of another) after their win against Oakland. I look for this young team to rebound and bounce back after their lack luster game last week.

Also look for Middle Linebacker Rob Fredrickson (out the last few weeks)to play this week.

I do expect more points in this game then their last meeting Up thru week 9 Az was avg. 14 ppg. In the last 4 weeks, they're avg. almost 2 td's more (27 ppg)

I like AZ +5 points in a game that should be close and probably won by the Cards.

I hope to break even this week. I need the money.
