Could have lived with it had it been the other way--and believe it would have been otherway had Dems ran someone closer to middle. The Dems have some good prospects coming up through the ranks and some good ideas so it will be their turn in matter of time. Elections are 2 edged swords--while you root for many in one party I am not keen on having large majorities in house and senate as I think we need checks and balances to cut excess spending by both parties--eg the medicare act. I hate spending that is permanant and escalating.

Enjoyed the banter with you throughout election. Everyone seemed to take their licks in stride. I think with a few exceptions threads were civil but we all tend to get heated on such volitile subject.

Was disappointed that some took out frustration on Canada for acts of a few.They have fought by us for years and made sacrifices---and that is one relationship we should not let politics get between.
