TUESDAY Bases>>>>>>
LN 6-4, +575

Could have had a huge nite, but had 2 blown save opps from Mesa and Rocker, plus M's/A's rain out ruined a potential winner. Pretty much story of the season for me so far this year. But can't really comlpain about a winning nite.

Afternoon games........

Dodgers+100 (Ishii/Hampton) x2
Looks like a very popular choice today as the line had moved from+110 to -110. Ishii is having the same effect on the batters as Nomo did when he first came. Whatever control problems he had all vanished into thin air. Ishii relies on change of speed on his pitches rather than movement, so the thin air in Colorado prob won't be as big a factor as to Ashby. As long as he keeps the batter off balance and avoids BB's, this should be his 3rd win of the season.

A few more later.........GOOD LUCK!!

Pitt+145x2 (Williams/Sheets)
Brewers favored again? Granted Sheets on the mound, but Williams does well in day games and Mil still can't hit. Like the Under in this game but Barrett behind the home plate avg 13 runs per game, so pass.

Braves-125 x1 (Maddux/D'Amico)
Maddux to snap the losing streak. Cheap price.

Atl/Mets Under7.5-120 x2 (Listed)
Atlanta .217 vs RHP, and Mets .238 vs RHP.

Like LA Under, but Ishii prob won't go more than 6, neither will Hampton. Don't trust either BP at Coors. Both teams' hitters can explode at any time, so pass un Under.

GOOD LUCK!!

Stag, www.covers.com has game by game breakdown, and what the direction of the wind means in relation to the stadium. And I go to www.weather.com to get detailed hour-by-hour weather forecast.

The rest is pretty much hard work, using the database and resource link that Jack put up on top of the page. Since I'm too stingy to pay for services like Statfox.

Good luck today:cool:

Good start so far :D.......

Cards+150 x1.5 (Morris/Schilling)
Schilling lifetime 5-7, 4.21ERA vs Cards and Morris 2ER in 12IP over 3 appearances. Drew rested yesterday and should be back in the line-up. Larusa will load his line-up full of lefty batters as he usually does vs Schilling. +150 is a great price we're getting backing Morris.

GOOD LUCK!!

Short on time. Here is the Nite card......

Indians+145x1.5 (Baez/Buerle)
Baez has good stuff, just might be young and fearless enough to shut down the hot Pale Horse.

BoSox-113 x2 (Oliver/Eyre)
Same as yesterday: Hot pitcher on a hot team vs cold pitcher on a cold team.

Cinci+130 x1.5 (Hernandez/Haynes)
I don't understand this one, Hernandez is clearly not 100%. He avg 1K per IP last yr and hit 95mph on his fastball. This year is struglling to hit low 90's and only 2K's so far this year. WHY IS HE PITCHING? Is it THE JIMMY (as Dr Freeze would put it) at work here?

Spos+120 x1 (Ohka/Bere)
Spos have the right idea here, don't matter if you have the Crime Dog and Alou in the lineup. Walk Sosa and no one else will do jack.

O's/NYY Under9+120x1.5 (Towers/Hernandez)

Good Luck All!!!!

Way to go thus far. Lets keep it up.

Along with my plays I relied on you for the LA/Col under. Thank you very much, I would have had no idea about the wind factor.

GL tonight and keep up the good work.

Thanks, guys. Had to step away for a few. Best of luck to you guys tonite.:toast:

Adding........

KC/Minny Under9.5-115x2 (Byrd/Radke)
Byrd's done well this season so far, 2.70 ERA, 13.1IP, no BBs, vs White Sox and at Boston. Radke is an excellent control pitcher and should bounce back from disappointing outings earlier, especially at home where he usually shines.

Be back for the late games.:D

Damn, looks like the Cubbies bats woke up.:(

2 Late games:

Pads+115 x2 (Jarvis/Ainsworth)
A contrarian play here, just have one of those feelings that the Pads bats will come alive. On the other hand the Giants hit the snots out of the ball vs Jarvis. Sanders, Snow, Bonds, Kent, all hit over.300, and Aurilia is an insane .615. The thing with rookie pitcher is that they are inconsistent, especially on the road. So I'm throwing out the stats and backing the home doggy.

M's+115 x2 (Moyer/Hudson)
Somewhat of another contrarian play as Hudson is about the only AL pitcher who owns the M's. Virtually unhittable vs the M's, and now pitching at home. But gonna back the hot M's bats who are 9-0 on the road to keep rolling like the way they opened last years season.

GOOD LUCK!!!
