HOUSTON TEXANS +4 (Saturday) - The Texans should be an inspired club playing their first ever home game at brand new Reliant Stadium, with better than 60,000 fans expected. The fledging franchise has not been embarrassed in the first 3 games, especially in their 2 games on grass, where they averaged 306 total yards per game of offense. First round pick David Carr showed some nice poise last week, passing for 123 yards in the first half under heavy pressure from the Kansas City defense. Houston also may have found a new running back, as Jonathan Wells ran for an impressive 63 yards last week, and he has clearly out-performed expected starter James Allen to this point. Miami has not looked good on offense in the first 2 games, and coach Wanstedt has announced that that he is making some changes on the left side of the offensive line. This may effect both the passing and running games early in the game until the new starters become acclimated to their positions. Throw in what figures to be a loud, rowdy crowd and the Texans just may be spurred on enough to pull the upset.
