I'm sure a couple of the replies to the post (which is now locked) were just joking/half-kidding...

At the same time, keep in mind, the guy said he would go above 52.4% for the playoffs, meaning he would make money.

To put it in simple terms....part of winning 60% of the time is indeed losing 40% of the time. Just because you lose game 1 doesn't mean you don't make money.

He didn't mean, if he ever goes under 52.4%...he meant that he'd go over 52.4% for the entire playoff season, so I'd like to see what he's got.

We won't find that out until after Game 7 when the Lakers defeat the Celtics...
