A proofreading software company has examined Facebook posts and finds that those who support Republicans have poor spelling compared to Democrats fans

Arguments on social media can get heated quickly, so it is understandable that some people get so caught up in the moment they forget to use apostrophes correctly.

And few arguments get more heated than ones about politics. However, it has been proven that Donald Trump supporters are the worst bad grammar culprits.

Grammarly, an automated proofreading website and software company, assessed the spelling and grammar of comments posted on the official Facebook profile pages of 19 presidential candidates.

Democrat supporters make 4.2 mistakes per 100 words, according to the research, where as comments left on Republican profile pages have 8.7 mistakes per 100 words.

Hillary Clinton fans have the highest error rate for supporters of candidates for the Democrats, at 6.3 mistakes per 100 words.

Lincoln Chafee supporters have the lowest error rate, at 3.1 mistakes per 100 words.

However, comments from Trump supporters are in a league of their own - for every 100 words left on his page, there are 12.6 mistakes, according to Grammarly.

This probably won't annoy the Republican frontrunner too much - his tweets show just how much he likes to be creative with grammar:
