Why don't they just let the Yankees play with 11 men in the field also................This is exactly why won't be around, at least not in its present state, in 5 more years.......These guys don't care about "the game", they only care aboout being set for life with one HUGE contract and f**k everybody else. I can't beleive that people still want to go out and watch a team with their pick of all-stars from everybody elses rosters. But then again it is in New York, so it's easy enough to find enough "asses" to fill the seats.....Without a salary cap this game is doomed, and at this point it would almost be impossible to implement one when you have a Yankess payroll at six times other teams.......Root, root, root for the home team, cus if they don't win it's cus of the rain.........because there won't be enough other ball clubs around to play..........Eventually it will be down to eight teams of superstars playing each other in round robin tournaments. Wow, wont that be fun!

I do agree that there needs to be a cap.. Hell baseball is the only sport that doesn't have one.. I am sure that there will be a salary cap in baseball within the next few years..

Even though the Yanks are loaded, doesn't mean they can't be beat.. Look at the D-Backs last year..

hey keser, i disagree with your comments. i grew up 20 minutes from yankee stadium and now live in s florida and if your floridian friends every went to a game maybe some of the good players would stay. if you were playing for the marlins and only 10 000 people showed up to watch you play you would want to play else where, the yanks pay good money because they can.
just a thought.

No way Floyd stays w/ Marlins............& they will give him away, too, just like the gave away Clement & Alfonseca. The Marlins fans have been thru one dismantle-ing already after their world series win. They are going thru another one & they, in general, arent in the mood to attend any games with this taking place. Hit Em THE HITMAN
